M.Sc. Environment Management Educational Trip to IIM Kashipur and Corbett Tiger Reserve
Every year Students of M.Sc. Environment Management are sent to a short educational tour to Indian Institute of Management, Kashipur. Established in 2011, IIM Kashipur is the first IIM outside the metropolitan cities. In a short span of seven years, IIM Kashipur has emerged as a leading Management Institute. This year also from 5th March to 8th March students visited IIM, Kashipur and Corbett Tiger Reserve, Ramnagar. The aim of the tour is to impart managerial skills to the students, therefore four lecture sessions were organized for the students by the eminent faculties of IIM, Kashipur. Interactive lecture sessions were held between the students of FRIDU and faculty of IIM on various aspects of Economics, Management, Entrepreneurship and Marketing. Besides, students also visited Corbett Tiger Reserve, which has the glory of being India’s oldest and most prestigious Tiger Reserve. The reserve is well known for rich and varied wildlife including royal Bengal tiger, elephant, varied species of deer and rich birdlife.
