Visit of M.Sc. Wood Science & Technology students to Timber Depot on 14.09.2019 

Students of M.Sc Wood Science & Technology, First semester visited Raiwala Timber Depot on 14.09.2019 with Dr.  Manoj kumar, Faculty, Forest Pathology Discipline. The purpose of the tour was to give exposure to students a working system of timber depot such as transportation, storage, stacking of logs, auction procedure etc. Dr Manoj kumar explained insect and fungal infestations on wood during storage in depot and their control.  Depot Officer and staff of timber depot also interacted with students on various aspects of depot management practices.
