Incubation cell Activity May - 2017

Forest Research institute Deemed University organized a special lecture on a theme “Access and Benefits Sharing of Genetic Resources and   Forestry education prospects & challenges” to aware students about ABS mechanism and its implementation. Dr. Peerzada Ishtiyak, Technical Expert Access and Benefits Sharing (ABS) Partnership, Indo-German Biodiversity Programme was the guest faculty. He interacted with students and scholars and explained ABS Partnership Project for strengthening the National Biodiversity Authority, State Biodiversity Boards, and Biodiversity Management Committees in line of Nagoya Protocol on ABS. He also talked about the job opportunities for forestry experts in this sector.
