Every child has a right to and deserves excellent education. The family or demographics which the child is born into should not determine his or her fate or destiny. At CHOTI JIGYASA, We work hard to give them that opportunity as our country’s future depends on it.

CHOTI JIGYASA is an initiative by NISARG (former wild life cell) of Forest Research University (Deemed) University.

Primary schooling lays the foundation of a child’s learning and holistic development. During this period they develop skills that help them survive and succeed in the future. All the volunteers at CHOTI JIGYASA love children and want to impact their lives in many ways. We help the underprivileged children of F.R.I workers realize their potential. We make learning fun and interesting with audio visual aid. We help them think outside the box and use their imagination.

There are 2 volunteers each to teach a particular class twice a week. Special tuition is given to 5th standard students every morning to help them crack different entrance examination to get into a good secondary school.

During Wild Life Week celebration in the month of October the interested students of 3rd to 5th standard were asked to enter a drawing competition to spread awareness about wild life. We plan to organize more such events in the near future.
